Your blog is just too important to be missed. Youve got so significantly to say, such information about this subject it would be a shame to see this weblog disappear. The net wants you, man!

Thanks for this article, those are all valid points to check.

However, I must admit that even with this checklist, it appears that the quality of services is really variable, and I think it has to do with several other factors. BTW I am in Canada and currently using ADT, but I want to change for either VoxCom or Protectron as I had really good feedback.

Other quality factors:

- The staff: Its incredible how the staff affects the quality. Sometimes I get a really efficient services, and sometimes I think I'm talking to a dog

- The location: I'm wondering if this may impact...but I used to live in a very wealthy area, and received extremely good services, but since then, I moved to a relatively poor area, and the quality of the service is now really bad, as if they did not care about my business

Thanks for the information. I tend to think motion sensors are too consistent at triggering false alarms and should only be used in an accessory capacity with a full security system. And, motion sensor activations should always be verified with either audio or video technology.

Thank you very much for the article. One recommendation that I would give is to look beyond simply using audio as a glass break sensor. An audio system can be used to protect your entire home and can be a great way to reduce false alarms. With an audio system, security monitors have the ability to listen in live to what is going on in your home after the audio sensor has been tripped. Once the operator is listening in, they will have the ability to determine what is going on in your home and they can dispatch the police if they needed. With this system, security monitors will have a good understanding of what is taking place inside your facility and can confidently tell the police that someone has broken in.
